It was actually after the passing of my beloved in-laws that my journey toward Angle Care began. As I started the thankless job of the distribution of their material items, I couldn’t help but reminisce about how much I truly loved these wonderful seniors and how much I will miss them. It also dawned on me how tired I really was from taking care of them. When I was able to finally slow down, it occurred to me how time consuming and difficult it had all been. Even though I loved them with all my heart, it was hard to be the caregiver, especially without any help or training.
 That was the day the light bulb came on. I had wanted to be a nurse since I was a little girl. But being in my late forties with children and now back at work at a full time job, I wasn’t sure how I was going to obtain all the necessary schooling and credential PLUS keep UP the energy level. But that light bulb reminded me…if it doesn’t happen now, it never will.
It took me seventeen months of working full time and going to school full time, simultaneously, BUT I MADE IT!
Angel Care is now a 4 year old company and has 65 employees that include Companions to Registered Nurses. We provide the services that help families who do not need to go through what I did. Services provided, but not limited to… bathing, dressing, getting in and out of bed, meal preparation, medication monitoring, light housekeeping, errands, taking the client to their doctor appointments, even the beauty or barber shop, ALLOW families to spend quality time with their loved ones, instead of being the caregiver.

We have a client that we see one day a week. She likes to go swimming. BECAUSE she no longer drives, we pick her up, take her OUT to enjoy the pool and then it is off to do some errands. Otherwise, she would not be able to enjoy what she once did. She has a nice social day to look forward to.
