Life-changing help
Written by Sylvia J. Christian

In today’s world, more and more women are working mothers. Many work out of financial necessity: either they’re single mothers or they’re married but need to contribute to the household finances. Others work because of the challenges and opportunities that work provides, offering them a type of satisfaction that they get nowhere else. Yet working mothers are made to feel guilty if they don’t do everything that society expects of them—keeping a perfect house, creating delicious hot meals, attending the children’s sporting events.
What’s a working mother to do? Is it possible to adequately balance work and family life according to today’s society?

Are you one of the many women who has suppressed your personal goals and dreams in order to raise a family? Are you part of the “sandwich” generation, caring for your children as well as your ill and aging parents? Perhaps you feel that life has been good so far, but it could be better. Or you might be nearing retirement age and wanting to unearth hidden desires and dreams that you have long suppressed.

When you have spent most of your life caring for others—and that part of your life is suddenly gone due to a death or empty nest—you can feel lost and uncertain about your future. As a result, you may not know how to get your life back on track.

If that is your situation, then a Life Coach may offer the direction and guidance you need. A Life Coach will aid in identifying your strengths, weaknesses, goals and dreams, as well as any barriers that may be keeping you from achieving success. Whether you’re having a problem picking a new career or getting through a life transition, a Life Coach will help you pinpoint your priorities by asking pointed questions and evaluating the options. In addition, a Life Coach will help bring your gifts and talents to light and make it easier for you to picture yourself in the life you really want to have.

How does this happen? Coaches guide their clients to paint a picture of their ideal life, then map out a plan to make it a reality by offering structure and accountability. A Life Coach will help you live your life with purpose, passion and fulfillment—whether for the first time or recapturing the passion you once had.

Why wait? Get started on the job or life of your dreams now!
